EVENT DATE: Sunday, May 16, 2010
EVENT: Stage 2 Ride the Route - Santa Rosa to Trinity to Santa Rosa
On Sunday, May 16, 2010 join the All Sport-Team Swift junior riders and Santa Rosa Cycling Club members for a ride up the final King of the Mountain climb of ATOC Stage 2.
ROUTE: Group A (Main Event) ~2 hour casual 31 mile ride from Santa Rosa over Sonoma Mountain and back to Santa Rosa on Bennett Valley Road with All Sport-Team Swift and the Santa Rosa Cycling Club Includes:
• Pre-ride bike check– Provided by Bici Sport
• Pit stop with energy bars/drink– Provided by All Sport-Team Swift
• Route map – Provided by Santa Rosa Cycling Club
Group B (Advanced): ~3 hour moderate 43 mile ride over Sonoma Mountain and up Trinity Grade. There will be a pit stop at the top of Trinity Grade at the fire station. Then the group will rejoin the Main Group to Santa Rosa on the final 21.2 miles of the Stage 2 finish.
Note: Both Groups A & B will be unsupported. Bring your own pump and spare tubes. You will be provided a pre-ride bike check, energy bars/drinks along with a route map.

• Important: All participants in club rides MUST sign a Liability Waiver form. Club members do this automatically when they join the club. Visitors are welcome on club rides but must print and sign the form and give it to the ride leader at registration before the departure. The form is available here.
• Riders under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Helmets are required.
Parking: Free parking is available along the streets and in City Hall Parking lot or on the street. Registration will help provide direction on available parking.
Cost: Free. Any donations will benefit All Sport-Team Swift
Parents and friends are invited to join Team Swift and the Santa Rosa Cycling Club to preview the finishing miles of TOC Stage 2 into Santa Rosa. Everyone is welcome and will need to sign a waiver. Be sure to read the Team Swift Riding Rules below so you come prepared.

• All Team Ride is May 16, 2010
• 9:00 AM – 12:00PM in Santa Rosa
• Ride Leaders: Coach Laura & Coach Eric. Everyone is invited to join the ride and must abide by the Team Swift Ride Rules.
• Skill Level: All levels invited. Riders under 12 years old must have a riding parent in attendance.
• The ride will be between 2.5-3 hours.

Team Swift Riding Rules:
Helmets are mandatory.
All participants in club rides MUST sign a Liability Waiver form. Club members do this automatically when they join the club. Visitors are welcome on club rides but must print and sign the form and give it to the ride leader at registration before the departure. The form is available here.
Carry 2 spare tubes, tire irons, money, water, energy bars, ID with an emergency phone number, and enough warm clothing.
Your bike needs to be clean for each group and team ride.
Pre Ride Safety Check: look at your tires to make sure you don’t have glass in them and check the quick-release skewers on your hubs to make sure they are totally secure. Ask for help at the shop prior to departure.
Always ride to the right side of the road and in the bike lanes if available.
Respect all traffic laws.
Coaches or ride leaders are on the road for your safety. Listen closely for their advice in the group. This is a major safety issue especially when there are a lot of riders and traffic on the roads. A quick response may be necessary.

Clothing Pick Up: You can pick up clothing at the All Team Rides. Email Coach Laura at least two days before the ride.

All Sport-Team Swift has a full day of activities starting at 10AM in downtown Santa Rosa. We will register participants for a fundraising ride to benefit our team, assist in the Kid’s Race, pass out All Sport samples with our sponsors and watch the Pro Men come racing into the finish line.
